The decision to change uniform for police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and Ansar forces has been finalised at a meeting of home ministry’s advisory council.
The new uniform colours were decided at this meeting, according to reliable sources of the home ministry.
It was learnt that, a representative of police, ansar and RAB wearing 18 dresses entered the meeting room. Then the top officials at the meeting fixed the dresses.
The initiative for this reform gained momentum following deliberations on police reforms, which began after 5 August last year.
The upcoming changes aim to modernise the appearance of law enforcement personnel while aligning with their functional and operational requirements.
