The government has directed all public and private offices to function with half of their manpower from tomorrow (Monday).
The development came in a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Sunday.
Although half of the employees are allowed to hold offices in person while rest half to carry out duties virtually, reads the notification.
Coming into effect from January 24, the order will be in force till February 6.
Meanwhile, officials of all government, semi-government, autonomous and private institutions are directed not to leave their workstations.
