The National Economic Council in a meeting on Wednesday made a downward revision of the annual development programme at Tk 2.27 lakh crore from Tk 2.46 lakh crore for the current financial year.
Presided over by prime minister Sheikh Hasina, the NEC meeting at the planning commission cut only foreign contribution to Tk 74,500 crore from the original Tk 93,000 crore for revision of the ADP.
The contribution has remained the same at Tk 1.53 lakh crore.
About 1,525 projects will be implemented under the revised ADP, said planning division secretary Satyajit Karmaker at a press briefing after the meeting.
Of them, 1,410 are investment projects and the rest 115 are technical assistance projects.
