At least 327 new infections were recorded and three persons died from Covid-19 in 24 hours till 8 am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The current positivity rate is 1.91 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14.33 percent.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country now stands at 29,100 and the mortality rate stands at 1.49 percent. Meanwhile, the total number of cases rose to 19,48,798, added the release.
A total of 17,103 samples were tested across the country in the 24 hours.
At least 2,879 patients have recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 18,55,249 and the recovery rate at 95.20 percent, added the release.
All of the three deceased were male.
Of them, two were between 61-70 years old and one was within 71-80 years old, added the release.
