At least 1,135 Covid-19 cases were recorded in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
In this period, one person died from Covid-19, raising the death toll to 29,134.
The Covid-19 death rate at the moment is 1.49 percent.
The current positivity rate is 13.3 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.75 percent.
Meanwhile, with the new infections the total number of cases rose to 19,59,209, added the release.
A total of 8,536 samples were tested across the country during this period.
At least 122 patients have recovered from Covid-19 within this time. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,06,105 and the recovery rate at 97.29 percent, added the release.
