Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team retained the ACC U-19 Asia Cup title with crushing 59-run win over India in the final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Junior Tigers posted 198 in 49.1 overs after being invited to bat first. In reply, India were all out for 139 in 35.2 overs.
Azizul Haque Tamim and Iqbal Hossain Emmon took three wickets apiece while Al Fahad took two.
India captain Mohammad Aman top scored for his team with 26 runs.
Earlier, Rizan Hossan was the highest scorer for Bangladesh with 47 runs off 65 deliveries aided by three boundaries while Shihab James contributed 40.
Farid Hossain’s valuable 39 runs off 40 balls towards the end of the innings helped the junior Tigers set a respectable total.
