At least 475 people were killed and 605 others injured in 566 road crashes across the country in November, said a report published by the Passenger Welfare Association of Bangladesh on Tuesday.
During the time, 30.56 per cent or 173 people were killed and 15.01 per cent or 85 more people were injured in 25.97 per cent or 147 motorcycle related crashes.
The highest number of road crashes took place in Dhaka division where 115 people were killed and 138 more were injured in 183 crashes and the lowest in the Sylhet division where 16 people were killed and 26 more were injured in 22 crashes.
In the period, 23 people were killed and 25 others were injured in 31 railway accidents and five people were killed and one remained missing in six waterways accidents.
The PWAB issued a press release on the monthly report based on different media reports.
