At least seven people were killed and three were injured in a collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Hathazari upazila of Chattogram on Tuesday.
The identities of the victims could not be known immediately, said Moniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Hathazari Police Station.
The accident took place at about 12:00pm in the Charia Board School area of Hathazari.
Witnesses said that seven people died on the spot when the Chattogram-bound bus collided with a Fatikchhari-bound auto-rickshaw on Hathazari-Fatikchhari regional highway.
On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies, said the OC.
The injured were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, he added.
