General Secretary of Gonodhikar Parishad Rashed Khan has resigned from the party and joined the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
He has been nominated as the BNP candidate from the Jhenaidah-4 constituency.
The development was announced at a party event, where BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir called on BNP leaders and activists to stand by Rashed Khan and extend full cooperation to ensure his victory in the upcoming election.
Mirza Fakhrul expressed confidence that Rashed Khan’s inclusion would strengthen the party in the constituency and urged all party members to work unitedly to secure his election.
